MBA Engineers provided geotechnical engineering and CMT services for the new 17,000 square foot Dining Facility at the Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama.
The geotechnical subsurface exploration consisted of some medium consistency soils that required some moisture conditioning and recompacting to support the building on shallow foundations.
